We'll use this around the festivals where we're screening and it will also be a part of the DVD cover design. Let us know what you think.

Festival Submissions for The Booker

We dropped a few festival submissions in the post today and it gave me the idea to list out everywhere we've submitted so far...for any one who is keeping up.
So here you go...

Full Frame Documentary Film Festival
Atlanta Film Festival
Florida Film Festival
Memphis International Film Festival
Dallas International Film Festival
Little Rock Film Festival
SilverDocs
Bare Bones International Film Festival
Tribecca Film Festival
Docutah Film Festival
Seattle International Film Festival
Nashville Film Festival

It's a pretty impressive list and we've got fingers crossed that we'll make it in to at least a few of them.
We have several others that we plan to submit to, all in all about 12 more to go.

The Booker Gets a Facebook Page!

With the movie done and the submission process started we thought it'd be a good idea to take advantage of some social media sites, such as Facebook.
So we set up a
Fan Page for The Booker.
Go there now and then tell all of your friends about it.
Easy way to find out info and to put in your two cents.

Booker Screening Goes Swimingly

We did the screening last night. All told there were about 85 people there, a great turnout.
No one walked out and that was a plus for me. The wrestlers seemed to like the movie, at least they said they did. Most importantly Steve was pleased and I got to talk in front of a crowd.
We did some surveys and here are a few stats for you to chew on...

94% thought the story was well defined
78% found Steve a sympathetic character
78% would recommend the movie to friends

Pretty good night all in all.
